Join us for our Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study on Saturday, May 4th, at 8:30 a.m. We’ll enjoy a homemade breakfast followed by a discussion of God’s Word for us today. Please let Scott Lyon know if you’re planning to join us so we can ensure we have enough chairs, food, and handouts.
Bring your gloves and gardening tools on Saturday, May 4th. We will work on the flower beds and landscaping to spruce up the outside of our church. We plan to start at 10:30 a.m. after the Men’s breakfast. The rain date will be on Wednesday, May 8th.
Mother’s Day is also Blanket Sunday here at Hawker Church. Honor your mother or other woman in your life by giving a blanket to Church World Service. Blankets are just $10 each, and you’ll receive a free Mother’s Day card with each donation. Look for the Blanket Sunday table in the Narthex on May 5th or stop by the church office on Weds., May 8th.
Covid Response
Masks and physical distancing are now optional for everyone, per the CDC and the Governor’s order. We continue to have lots of hand sanitizer available for everyone, and a few pews in the back of the sanctuary remain separated if you need a little extra “breathing room.” If you’re not feeling well or are running a fever, please stay home and join us via Facebook or YouTube.
