In addition to short term studies and events that we hold throughout the year,

We envision Hawker Church as an active, welcoming community of faith, an embodiment of Christ-like grace and love, which ministers to the community and the world.  Building upon our heritage of strength, we will strive to grow in numbers, in faith, and in commitments to the ways of Christ.

The President's Club

presidents club cropThe President’s Club is a vital group of Hawker’s current and past Presidents that have a desire to continue serving our Lord, our church, our congregation and community. Meetings are held as needed to plan upcoming events and usually at a local restaurant. Events sponsored by the President’s Club are a Lasagna Dinner in February, Son’s Banquet in June and Ice Cream Social in September. Proceeds have benefitted local needs such as the Dayton Chapter of Secret Smiles, Feed the Creek, 4 Paws for Ability, and Hawker’s Pastor Discretionary Fund. National benefactors include Shriner’s Hospital, Operation Helmet, and the Wounded Warrior Project. Watch our monthly newsletter for upcoming dates and event details.

Our groups and opportunities for men are geared to help you live the life God meant you to live. We aim to challenge and encourage you to live more like Jesus Christ at home, in the workplace, and in the world.

Men’s Discussion Group

Every Wednesday morning at 10am the group meets in the Conference Room for time to fellowship and reflection. There’s scripture considered, storytelling, debate and support as we share our lives with one another.

Men’s Squared Breakfast

The first Saturday of the month finds our men gathering at 8:30am for breakfast in the Church Crusader’s Room. This is always a lively discussion, which wrestles with theology and connect the scripture to our own lives and to current events.
